Stars of the catch 17 July 2013. NFY Very odd shaped but nice looking pugs, also one of the easier to ID, that 'v' on the wing stays even when they are worn.

Stars of the catch 17 July 2013. Another we don't see often, and could be one of the ones that I let go onto the bramble on the patio earlier.

Stars of the catch 17 July 2013. First to be photographed. We had a downstairs neighbour who has several fruit trees in their garden, I suspect that helps these, although they are polyphagous larva.

Haworth's Pug

Stars of the catch 17 July 2013. NFU Never had this little pug before, the abdomen's orangish color is diagnostic. Unfotunately they are not the most cooperative, and I had to take this shot where I could get it...lol

Lozotaeniodes formosanus

Stars of the catch 17 July 2013. NFY A quite large and very colorful tortrix moth, the sun and background not helping here, but they have lovely pinks and orange scales.
