These look like ordinary dandelions but they are really large, and the plants grow very tall around the reed bed.

There are many of these 'types' of flowers that grow, these are white, grow in bunches like this of many little flowers, and start off in a cup shape before blooming. I have never noticed this center piece before :) Thanks Mick for the ID of Wild Carrot on it.
