Sussex Moth Group, Hastings Branch impromtu moth event at Guestling Wood. Stars of the catch 25 May, 2014 One of my favorite moths, the colors, the resting posture (not shown here) and that big eye'd face. The moth is named for its caterpillar which looks very lobster like, I've not seen them yet.

Another member of the SMG Hastings Branch brought me this moth to show the folks at Fairlight, I've only ever had one on our patio. They are named after the caterpillar which looks like an ant/lobster mix...lol

Disabled Elderly Moth

This poor guy showed up in horrible shape. He's nearly half the size he should be, he is missing large portions of wings both outer and under, and he has lost all of the 'feet' or hooked segments of all six legs that allow him to climb and hang on to anything.
