Stars of the catch 2013. First Photographed. We see quite a few of these a year, they are a local species. This color variation will become yellow with age, as often can happen with this olivey green colored moths.

I actually struggled with this at first glance looked like a marbled green, but then not.. lol It is, but its a nice variation :)

This was really a bit strange, because as far as I know (which isn't much I admit..lol) the marbled greens are fairly green..lol This guy has almost none, but the midline along the wing is broken which says its not a Marbled Beauty... any thoughts on this are welcome.

Local species we see quite commonly in Hastings.
