in the History of the World!! This is no trick photography, no stunt doubles were used. This Elephant Hawk moth is huge compared to this Poplar Hawk. He caused quite a stir with me for a few days making sure he wasn't some special Migrant..lol

The sandstone has erroded away leaving houses of years past, quite a few. I think from the bees we saw digging around the area.

I've seen a couple of these this year, no idea what they are except lovely! Hiding deep in the brambles. Just noticed Rockwolf has a similar beast, maybe this is Andrena fulva? Thanks for the ID!
