At first I thought this would be the common darter, but on further examination its clearly the Ruddy Darter female. The give aways are the missing yellow stripe the length of the legs (as seen on the common) and the red in the base of the wings.

Darters are really fun, because they have a unique face structure giving them a pug face appearance which is very cute.
