Bobbing around near the old swimming pool last fall.

Spent some time watching this pair, male and female hunting in the grass. I thought he was chasing her, but no... No butterflies were harmed in the taking of this photo! It got away :)

Such a beautiful little bird, loads of character as well.

Yes folks no longer do you need binos to see the birds at Rye, they are starting a test program of putting birds into the Hides! Or possibly this bird is doing some people watching. Sorry about the quality here, but couldn't resist putting up this Wheatear who was enjoying a break from the wind inside the hide.
