Several fishermen came to the river around sunset. One of them was smacking a paddle so hard on the water that it sounded a lot like gun shots. We guessed it may have been to stun the fish.

We tried the Burmese speciality of fermented tea leaves in a salad. It was pfretty tasty, but unfortunately was mixed with crushed peanuts (as it often was) so I could only eat teensy bits of it.
