and so we leave the Bagan and the Thurizza Hotel to fly to Lake Inle. I fell badly ill (something like flu - full sinuses, muscle pain, headaches) for a few days in Bagan and a long bus trip was out of the question, so we decided to fly instead.

The rooftop terrace ran around three sides of the hotel. We had our breakfast here every morning, as well as drinks in the evenings.
