Horse and cart is the main form of transport in this area - definitely for the tourists, and often for the locals. The temples of Inwa are quite a distance apart, so it was well worth it, especially in that heat.

I was hesitant about using a horse and cart but was pleasantly surprised at the good condition of all the horses. Our driver never shouted at his horse and was always gentle with her. It was a lot of fun.
