tragedy strikes: 29 eels dead in the tank this morning. Lack of oxygen? Changed the water and installed a bubbling pump in the tank. After that, all of the remaining 31 eels survived for the last 3 days of purging.

The Eels Have Landed. Overnight escape attempt: 6 dead. The wire netting was weighted down onto the tank with that big chunk of wood to the right of the tank, but they managed to push it off.

after two disappointing tries with the eel net in Vee & Daniel's dam, the third try netted over 60 eels! Here they are in their purging tank, which is being filled with fresh water.
