And now: cygnets in motion!

As I got closer the dad (I presume) got out of the water and went for me. I did the same thing I do when our gander looks mean (head down, arms out, walk forward) and he backed off. But so did I out of respect. (and yes: cygnets!)

We saw this black swan pair wandering along the street around the lake, and then in the lake as well. They looked very proud of their brood. (and yes: cygnets!)

So cute. These were the only ones we saw at the lake that day, and were probably the first this spring (and yes: cygnets!)
