Dessert: I had the trifle of the day - berries with orange blossom cream and spiced meringues (divine) with St Germain elderflower liqueur. Ad had the petite fours platter of desserts, including a mini version of my trifle, a hops bavarois with an Indian Ale infused syrup, a flourless chocolate cake, a sticky date pudding and a lemon curd tart. All the food was fabulous. We shared a plate of king prawns with a Balinese salad for entree. Ad then had beef cheeks, together with Mallee Bull beer. I had home made pasta with duck ragu. Mmmmmm. At the Mildura Brewery run by Stefano de Pieri and Donata Carrazza.
