He lay by the glass door, and although he was dazed, seemed otherwise unhurt, so I put him on a towel, in a bowl in the sun, to warm up and collect his wits.

Yesterday I saw a flock of about 20 of these birds picking at bugs in the cattleyard. Today this one flew into our dining room window. (I try to avoid these incidents by never cleaning the windows!)
