Ten ducklings in a bucket, on their way to the other end of the garden to their new home.

At 17 days, the ten ducklings are ready to move into the junior section of the main duck pen. Fred got into the cage to catch the squirmy little buggers.

Fonzie just loves ducklings. He had been trying to dig his way into this pen! The ducklings are 17 days old now and still growing at an astonishing rate.

Another wish come true: we now have a Sebastopol gosling. Would have given it to its eager foster-goose-family, but am too afraid of it being snaffled by a fox at night. The ducklings accepted it immediately; just before this photo they were all in a huddle with the gosling in the middle.

We put 7 eggs from our own Pekin ducks into the incubator, and 5 of them started to hatch. This is the first to emerge.
