It got dark around 6pm, so all of my shots from the moving train are a bit blurry.

In the end we had about five of them in with us. They stayed till the train started to leave. Trains leave slowly in Myanmar (actually, they continue slowly, too) so no need to rush to get off or on.

It wasn't unusual to have some young person burst into song, and this young snack seller was good. Unfortunately, I only remembered halfway through that you can't rotate videos for playback. You'll just have to crane your neck. It;s worth it. The lad was soooo pleased when he realised it was a recording and not just a photo, and laughed himself into a ball over Ad in the foreground.

Not exactly luxurious, but we had a sleeper and the seats were sort of soft. The train was so bumpy, though, that our whole bodies would lift off and land repeatedly throughout the night. I even had boob pain from bouncing. I pitied the poor Brazilian woman we shared the cabin with.
