Facade in "Calle Reina" - La Habana The building "El Cetro de Oro" ("The golden scepter") shows elements of Art nouveau and was built in 1910. Architect was Eugenio Dediot.

"Cine Cuba", a long gone cinema with 900 seats in Calle Reina - La Habana. In Havana, the cinema Cuba was the first to open and was considered one of the most elegant at the time. With its early 1900 facade in white granite, it's very stunning. The insignia "CUBA" was added in the 1950s. The inside is beautiful, and you can see clearly the first floor which had seating and the second floor, which held the projection room. It's now used as a laboratory for wood reportedly, but obviously it looks abandoned.
