The original name of the sugar mill "Noel Fernández" was Senado, like the local village. It's no. 520 of Cuba and has been closed in 2002. The mill had a 2'6" gauge railway system. End of series about the remains of this sugar mill.

Ruins of sugar mill "Noel Fernández", prerevolutionary name "Senado", no. 520 of Cuba. As with most of all abandoned sugar mills, the ruins are still used by the local population for different purposes. HFF and a safe and sunny weekend, my friends......and search for the little pig ;-)
