From Lago Puerreydón there is a small dirt road leading into the beautiful Valle Rio Oro, where one can have a view to the highest mountain in this region, Monte San Lorenzo (3706 m, see PiP). Three large glaciers cover the mountain, 2 in Argentina, 1 in Chile.
