Mouse-ear chickweed . Thrives on lime-poor scree in alpine to nival altitudes (2,000 - 3,500m), where actually only lichens and mosses occur. (Seen while descending from Grosser Ilfinger (South Tyrol, Italy) to an altitude of approx. 2,550 m.) ~~~~~ Einblütiges Hornkraut . Gedeiht auf kalkarmem Schutt in alpinen bis nivalen Höhenlagen (2.000 - 3.500m), wo eigentlich nur noch Flechten und Moose vorkommen. (Gesehen beim Abstieg vom Großen Ilfinger (Südtirol, Italien) auf ca. 2.550 m Höhe.)
