The Pisciadù waterfall in the Mittagstal valley below the Pisciadu hut. Normally it is only a trickle in late summer. But because it rained a lot in the Dolomites, it showed itself in full splendour last Wednesday. ~~~~~ Der Pisciadù-Wasserfall im Mittagstal unterhalb der Pisciadu-Hütte. Normalerweise ist er im Spätsommer nur ein Rinnsal. Weil es in den Dolomiten aber reichlich geregnet hat, zeigte er sich am vergangenen Mittwoch in voller Pracht. ( 500 meters above / 500m Meter höher )

At the eastern end of Lake Pisciadù the waters are flowing through this small lake, which is situated some meters lower than the main lake.
