View from the Stafflach Cliff above St. Jodok (Tyrol, Austria ) into the Schmirntal. (2 PiP's) An interesting detail: The railway drives here - coming from the Wipptal from Innsbruck - into this side valley, makes a big turn and drives out on the other side again in the direction of Italy. This way she gains the necessary height without having to climb >2.5% (Good to see on OpenStreetMap). ~~~~~ Blick aus der Stafflacher Wand oberhalb von St. Jodok (Tirol, Österreich ) ins Schmirntal. (2 PiP's) Ein interessantes Detail: Die Eisenbahn fährt hier - aus dem Wipptal von Innsbruck kommend - in dieses Nebental hinein, macht einen großen Bogen und fährt auf der anderen Seite wieder heraus Richtung Italien.
