Because of the interest in the other ancient picture of mine let me show you a second one from my mothers abatement. It originates from an unknown photographer. I assume, that it was captured in 1934 (look at the wall in the background). I ssume furthermore, that it was captured as a contract work and distributed to all attendants. Consequently it counts as being published since more than 70 years and is free from any copyright. I show it as a histoical document. You see young men - one of them my father, beeing 28 - at the "NS-Reichsarbeitsdienst". Those men had no rights. Half of them were younger than 20. Many young man participated in this organization, because they got something to eat there, and because they had an employment. For high-school graduates it was abligatory. Ten years later, two third of them were dead. ~~~~~ Aufgrund des Interesses an dem vorhergehenden Bild veröffentliche ich noch eines aus dem Nachlass meiner Mutter, bevor ich wieder zu meinen aktuellen Bildern übergehe. Es stammt von einem unbekannten Fotografen und muss von 1934 sein (Inschrift an der Saalwand). Es ist anzunehmen, dass es von einem Auftragsfotografen angefertigt wurde und alle Anwesenden eines erhielten. Somit wurde es in den Verkehr gebracht (veröffentlicht). Da seitdem >70 Jahre vergangen sind, ist das Bild gemeinfrei, so dass ich es hier zeigen darf. Und das tue ich in der Haltung, dass es ein historisches Dokument ist. Zu sehen sind junge Männer - unter ihnen mein Vater, damals 28 Jahre alt - beim Reichsarbeitsdienst. Diese Männer waren ohne Rechte und zur Hälfte noch keine 20 Jahre alt. Viele gingen dort hin, weil es etwas zu essen und eine Beschäftigung gab! Für Abiturienten mit Studienabsicht war der Arbeitsdienst Pflicht.
