Snow cannons are more commonly used at lower altitudes. They have a higher output and thus create thicker snow cover more quickly. This picture was taken near the valley station of the mountain cable car to the Buchensteinwand (1,456 m) near St. Jakob (Tyrol, Austria). ~~~~~ In den unteren Lagen werden eher Schneekanonen eingesetzt. Not an artificially added reflection, but a real mirroring of the low winter sun, which was briefly at the right angle. ~~~~~ Kein künstlich hinzugefügter Reflex, sondern eine echte Spiegelung der tief stehenden Wintersonne, die kurzzeitig im richtigen Winkel stand.
