The valley, called "Großer Ahornboden" in Tyrol (Austria), captured in October of 2015. The sycamore maple trees are up to 500 yeras old. ~~~~~ Der Große Ahornboden im Risstal (Tirol, Österreich), aufgenommen im Oktober 2015. Die Bergahornbäume dort sind bis zu 500 Jahre alt. (Wieder so ein Foto, wofür man sie in die Kuhfladen legen darf.)

Since 30 yers the tree population has been reforested with new trees. (Right-hand you may see the trail, which the runners of the Karwendel Hike used six weeks ago. See PiP.) ~~~~~ Seit 30 Jahren wird der Baumbestand in diesem Naturschutzgebiet gezielt wieder aufgeforstet. (Rechts im Bild der Trail, den die Läufer beim Karwendelmarsch vor sechs Wochen herunter kamen. Siehe auch PiP.) ~~~~~
