After crossing the Kaiser Mountains via Kopftörl you have to hike downhill over a large field of scree, called Hoher Winkel . The most efficient method to tackle it, is "scree running". (The title of this picture refers to the artificial shoulder joint of my friend, made out of titanium . He is not yet allowed to climb with it, because the operation was only 4 months ago. But he is fit again for hiking tours like this.) ~~~~~ Nach Überschreitung des Wilden Kaisers durch die Felsspalte am Kopftörl führt die Route über ein großes Schuttkar, den Hohen Winkel . Die beste Technik ist dabei, die Fersen in den Schotter zu rammen und quasi surfend "abzufahren". (Der Bildtitel bezieht sich übrigens auf das künstliche Schultergelenk aus Titan , das mein Freund seit vier Monaten hat. Klettern kann er damit noch nicht, aber für Bergwanderungen wie diese ist er schon wieder fit.)
