Bilberries (Vaccinium myrtillus, European blueberry) at high altitude. There they only ripen when the leaves are already red. I found these beautiful specimens at the end of September at the high alpine pasture "Klein Tibet im Zillergründl (1.880 m, Tyrol. Austria) ~~~~~ Heidelbeeren (Vaccinium myrtillus, Europäische Heidelbeere) in großer Höhe. Dort reifen sie erst, wenn das Laub schon rot wird.
