For the beer of the Meraner Forst Brewery , corn grits are used in addition to barley malt. It tastes good anyway. It tastes good nevertheless. Lowland moor at the head of the Kurzras valley at an altitude of about 2,300 metres. Such small moors are formed by groundwater accumulations. The strongly fluctuating water level promotes aeration and thus humification.
