Fortified and camouflaged bunker, part of the Italian Alps Wall here near the Kreuzberg Pass. The fortifications were built by Mussolini in the years leading up to WW2 to protect Italy from the Germans.

Fortunately we never quite got there, although it did get a little chilly, and then became a little damp. The Austrian border is just a small distance away.

First glimpse of some blue skies and snow dusted peaks. Sadly not to last the day. Kreuzbergpass, Dolomites.
