Only a few minutes passing through North Berwick and I took my motorbike along the front to get views over to the Bass Rock in the Firth Of Forth on the East Lothian coast in Scotland. 28th May 2017

I visited the lovely island of Islay in the southern Hebrides in Scotland last week. My first visit and the weather was beautiful. This was at Machir Bay at Kilchoman on the west coast of the island. Next landfall - America. So far, this is my favourite photo from the trip. This was an enormous beach but you would be fooled into thinking it was busy. 29th August 2014.

A family playing on the beach at Ostel (Kilbride) Bay, south of Tighnabruaich, Cowal Scotland. Amazing huge beach at least a couple of miles long. Goat Fell, the highest mountain on the island of Arran, dominates the skyline. Sunday 1st July 2012
