Returned to the Dolomites and climbed the Via Ferrata Brigata Tridentina in cold damp conditions with Shaun and Gerena. The first snowfall was 2 days before this, and it made it much more difficult and uncomfortable. But great to be back and fabulous views and exercise. 4th September 2017.

About 10 years ago, me and my mate Doug began a three year run of climbing holidays in the Italian Dolomites. This was a via ferrata route called Piz da Lech. We were fortunate that co-incidentally we were photographed by some other climbers at our hotel, who caught us scaling the rock face centre screen. How lucky were we?
