Dazzling warm sunshine in Scotland. The flowers don't know what's happening and are growing wild. Took me a while to find the name for this "weed" on the lawn. Sometimes when I'm cooking or making something in the kitchen I'll do some before and after shots. This was the array of raw ingredients for a big pot of soup I made on Thursday. I thought the colours in the leeks were so fresh and I wanted to try combining the ingredients on photoshop. The soup was leek, carrot, parsnip and turnip with red lentils and vegetable stock. Ideal for wet winter Scottish days with buttered crusty bread. Thursday 6th March, Scotland.
