Two Girls and One Doll

27 May 2024 3 1 314
A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of holding a doll . Notation on photo: "C. C. Kuhn. Photo.#716." A photo of two girls -- one standing and one seated -- posed on a piece of carpet among some shrubbery and potted plants. C. C. Kuhn ( Carl C. Kuhn , 1888-1948) was a well-known photographer who lived in Cashtown, Adams County, Pennsylvania, at the time he took this photo. This is an unused real photo postcard with an Azo stamp box design (four corner triangles pointing up) on the other side, which suggests a date that may be as early as 1904 to 1918. For a closer view of the girls and the doll, see a cropped version of the photo. For a close-up of the doll and Kuhn's name on the photo, see an even smaller detail .

A Vintage Photos Theme Park photo for the theme of messy (pics of mud covered children, birthday cake on the face, etc.) . Squinting in the bright sunlight, a cute little tyke sits among the carefully arranged messiness of an Easter photo op. See also the full version of this undated snapshot.

Easter Bunny Holdup (Full Version)

21 Apr 2019 1 515
An Easter snapshot dated "Apr 1961." The boy is holding his toy Easter bunny up above his head, and the woman has a pair of sunglasses and a purse (I thought at first that it might be a camera case) in her left hand. What appears to be a garden hose is snaking its way through the lower left-hand corner of the photo. For a better view of the family, see the cropped version of the photograph.

The full version of the photograph is dated "Apr 1961," and Easter occurred on April 2 that year. For similar Easter photos, see A Girl with Her Bunny and Mom and Boys with Their Bunnies and Moms .
