A postcard addressed to Miss Mary Elliott, c/o Mrs. R. Elliott, Milton West, Canada, and postmarked at Niagara Falls, N.Y., Oct. 29, 1909. Handwritten message: "Hope Papa is better since he went away. Love to you all from cousin Annie." Although Auld Lang Syne is traditionally associated with New Year's Eve, I suppose that All Hallows' Eve might also be a good time for old acquaintance not to be forgot. Note, too, that the jack-o'-lantern on this card is a carved turnip rather than a pumpkin.
