A photo for the Vintage Photos Theme Park monthly topic of snow (submit a photo on this topic each week in addition to—or instead of—a photo for the weekly topic) .
This photo reminds me of the one-liner that Henny Youngman made famous: "That Snow Lady, she's my wife!"
There's no date or location on this snapshot, unfortunately.
For another snow lady, see Nancy and Her Snowwoman, December 1951 .

A ticket or invitation for a "Universal Ball" held in Keene, New Hampshire, on March 5, 1852.
As listed on the ticket, musician S. K. Conant played both the violin and the "Kolquearougion," an instrument he invented. Although a newspaper article in 1859 called his invention the "Kolquearougion Bells," I haven't been able to uncover any additional information about it.

Lorett Fulkerson, the Last Performing Tattooed Lad…

"To Alan, Best wishes, Lorett."
When I visited the sideshow at the York Fair in York, Pa., in the mid-1980s, I purchased this card from a tattooed woman, "Lorett," who also autographed it for me. Years later, I was able to identify her as Lorett Fulkerson, and I discovered how lucky I was to meet her.
As Amelia Klem Osterud explains in her book, The Tattooed Lady: A History (Speck Press, 2009), p. 2, "Tattooed ladies graced sideshow and carnival stages until 1995, when the last performing tattooed lady, Lorett Fulkerson, retired from the carnival circuit at age eighty."
Lorett Fulkerson was at least seventy years old when I met her at the York Fair. Sadly, she died in 2007 at the age of ninety-two.
When I posted this over on Flickr , one of Lorett's grandchildren added a comment, and another person even provided some more recent color photos of Lorett.
Flag-Bedecked Carriage

In this real photo postcard, a man and woman sit in a carriage decorated with flags on the wheels and top. Perhaps they're waiting to join a parade for the Fourth of July or some other patriotic occasion.
Note, too, the two children who are looking on in the background. And nailed to the tree just behind the horses is a "Ladies Only" sign.

Milk Bottle Collar: Reminder and Order Form
22 Apr 2014 |
|
|
A milk bottle collar (for wrapping around the top of a bottle) that served both as a humorous reminder to return empty bottles and as an order form to ask the milkman to deliver specific items (back when dairies used to make regular home deliveries).
"Help keep down the cost of your milk by returning your empty bottles. Every unreturned bottle adds to the cost of delivering milk to your door. If you have any empties around your kitchen or basement, please return them."
"Lady, please send me home. Empty."
"Handy Order Blank. Place over return bottle. Please leave: ________. Name: ________. Address: ________."
For an enlargement of the middle panel with the cartoonish milk bottle, see Lady, Please Send Me Home!
