A tiny globular springtail, Sminthurinus elegans f. ornata I think, found at Venus Bank, Shrpshire. To give an idea of its size its sitting on the wing part of a sycamore tree seed. Taken at 5x magnification and uncropped. Many thanks to Frans Janssens for confirming my ID.
