Common occurrence in the Azores. Cattle on the road slowing down traffic. This was observed at Terras do Raposo, southeastern Santa Maria.

Occasionally trees from both roadsides create a tunnel. It's a pleasant experience to drive on this road. The photo was taken from Picos Viewpoint, Santa Maria Island, Azores.

Driving up to Foia, the highest point of Algarve (902m), this issue made me stop. Pushing cattle off the road wasn't an option; so I made u-turn and took another road...
