Red corn cobs can be seen in the baskets. Finding one of these is completely hazardous. Whoever found one during colective defoliation should announce it and, according to tradition, was entitled to hug or kiss all the other workers, male or female. This is displayed in the Municipal Museum, at Professor Street, Mondim de Basto.
