On the left bank of River Guadiana, at Mértola. It was installed within the shooting of the movie "Floating House", by the Brazilian director José Nascimento. It was about a woman from an Amazon tribe (whose daughter had been killed by loggers), who decided to leave Brazil with her granddaughter and her husband, a former miner in Mértola, to live here, in a floating house on Guadiana riverside, to educate her granddaughter according to the traditions of their tribe. The movie was concluded right before the pandemic, and exhibited since March 2022. HFW!
