The Royal Falconry was created in the 18th century, being hired a Dutch falconer to develop it to a standard required by the kings, addicts of hunting. In the 19th century the falconry was neglected and abandoned. In the 21st century the estate was restored and the practice of falconry, along with breeding of birds of prey, was recovered. It can be seen and visited at José Luís Brito Seabra Avenue, Salvaterra de Magos.
