It represents the siege of Torres Novas Castle in 1373, by the army of Henry II of Castile, which had captured as hostage the son of Gil Pais, the castle's warden. As Gil Pais didn't surrender, his son was killed. Seen at Gil Pais Street, Torres Novas.
