At Restauradores Square, Seixal. Adamastor was, in the Greek mythology, one of the giants who rebelled against Zeus. As punishment, Zeus transformed them into rocky cliffs and promontories. Cape of Good Hope, where the stormy waters of Atlantic and Indian oceans meet, was considered the domain of Adamastor, feared by navigators.
