Alberta canola harvest.

The mist was rising mixed with dust from harvesting caught our attention and I had to pull over the car to get this shot. The sun was setting quickly so I knew this scene would not last for long.

Dry conditions have reduced the yield for farmers this year.

Harvest time in Alberta. The wheat is not very high this year due to very dry conditions.

Canola Harvest

TSC - A collage from our week with selective colour, using white balance, and B&W. I made a stop at this field right next to the town of Calmar, Alberta. There were two combines working the field and two large hauling trucks waiting to take this grain to storage or market. I warmed up the photo with white balance to bring out the field and combine a bit more.
