Photo of the former amateur radio station GB2SM at the Science Museum, London , 1987. The station was set up by Gerald Garratt, G5CS, in 1955. Unfortunately the station was disbanded sometime in 1994, as the Museum believes that there is no future in radio communications! Currently the Science Museum callsign GB2SM is available for occasional use by the Swindon & District ARC (G8SRC).
