In the background, behind the train is the C.P.R. Station and Agent's quarters. This historic building has survived and was moved to the present-day Archibald Historical Museum not far from La Riviere.

POSTCARD Date: Posted on January 26, 1905 from Mrs. E. McKinnon in La Riviere to Mrs. W. H. Swales in Belleview, Ontario. Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified Notation: The La Riviere brick yards were a boon to the local economy in the early 1900s. built in 1902, it was only in operation for about 5 years. The back of the card shows it was printed as an undivided card - which the writer adapted to the divided back format. See:
