POSTCARD Date: Posted August 11, 1907. Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified Notation: I had to acquire it... who can pass on a small town bandstand?!? This postcard had faded considerably. Like others in this condition, I had to give the image a post-scanning boost. Through the bandstand, the sign for the Queen’s Hotel can be seen. Fieldstone construction, I understand that it was built in 1894-95 and burned down sometime after 1960.

Date: Posted 1913 Publisher / Photographer: Osborne Studio, Boissevain Notation: This image was apparently taken from the shore of Birch Island on Lake Max - showing these fellows in an early motor boat. Sent to Miss Myrtle Rollens in Crystal City. Note reads; "Dear Myrtle, I got the negatives for those pictures today. They all turned out good. I will send you some as soon as I get them printed. Started to school yesterday so it does not seem so slow. Write soon. Bernice"
