Publisher / Photographer: Unidentified Notation: This real photo image depicts the aftermath of the January 1912 fire that destroyed the fire Hall in Kenora, Ontario. This was Kenora's third Fire Hall - its two predecessors had also been destroyed by fire. Note on Reverse: "Dear Teddie. All that is left of Kenora's Fire Hall. We are all very lonesome. we watch for you every time we move. Lola had moved to the corner when I arrived home. she had been around two [chairs, chains, ?] but finally recovered by evening as Poie [?] came around about 20. K. Annie"

Dad is busy writing he came in at 8:15 went down wrote until noon then started again. and missed a first one by 20 min you know how he would feel don't you? Posted but the date is difficult to decipher - April 24, 19(?)4. Publisher / Photographer: Lyall Commercial Photo Limited. The building was constructed in 1912, so it is reasonable to assume that the image was taken shortly after it was completed and that this card was mailed in 1914.
