REVERSE OF MN0976 AND MN0975

These are the reverse sides of two bookmark-style postcards. Note that in the top one (reverse of MN0976), the inscription/instruction reads: "For 1 cent. Postage, Sender's Name and Address only allowed." I guess you were supposed to pay extra to include a message, but...
the sender of card MN0975 got away with sending a message without paying more! (Hard to enforce, I would think.)
MN0975 SOURIS - THE DRIVE, IDYLWILD

Date: Posted August 1, 1910
Publisher / Photographer: Sherrin & Co., Souris. The format and style of this card is identical to a great many published by the Pugh Manufacturing Company in Toronto. While "published" in the name of the local Sherrin & Co., it was no doubt produced by Pugh.
This is an example of a somewhat rare form of postcard - what is called the "bookmark" style.
Message on the reverse, sent to a Miss J. Murray in Lyleton, MB, reads; "Sorry but I am afraid that Killarney is not for me as mother & I certainly spent an enjoyable time in Br. (Brandon?) Thanks for this. Love from Mayme.
