Posted from Oshawa to Miami, Manitoba in April 1906, the message on the reverse reflects the popularity of postcard collecting & how folks established exchange partners in different locales. In this instance Hallie L. Stevenson in Oshawa sent this card to Hubert H. Storey in Miami with the message; "Per post card-exchange Montreal "Family Herald and Weekly Star". I am speculating that Mr. Storey placed an avertisement/notice in the Herald/Star inviting people to join in a postcard exchange with him. This notion is strengthened by Ms, Stevenson's curt message and the fact that her mailing address accompanies her signature. (Uncommon for postcard messages.)
