looks like a St. John's wort subspecies (most likely hypericum androsaemum). As lovely as its flowers look, this shrub is actually an invasive noxious weed in Australia. Explore, highest position: 491 on Wednesday, January 28, 2009

Banksia is a genus of the family Protaceae. Its around 170 species are indigenous to Australia and characterised by their flower spikes which turn into seed cones after flowering. This photo is of either B. serrata or B. aemula (the two species look very similar).

..and yet it is just a humble carpobrotus with the even humbler vernacular name of "pigface"
